I have a Cubot Magic that I want to connect to my Windows XP. Device is recogniced, but shows up nowhere. My device manager does not show the “add legacy driver”. In the menu of the handy. There is nothing to select between USB- or MTP-Connection. What can I do?
Androider says
Hi follow this procedure.
1) Go to Settings and tab “Storage”
2) Next, Open the options , You will see the “USB Data transfer setting”
3) Once done, While the device is connected to your computer, Check the Media device (MTP) option, That’s it.

Thanks, but: “storage” does not have “options”. Only the SD-card and the internal store are shown.
I enabled the developer options und switched USB from “Midi” (default) to
MTP. The connection was successful.
But: when I disconnect from the pc, the mode is switched back to “Midi”
and I have to enable everything over and over again.
Is there any possibility the switch *permanent* to MTP?
